Dinos Lontzetidis, a sailor since he was 9, set up a small repairs loft in 1975. In 1979, he made his first dinghy sails bearing the DL SAILS logo.

In 1981 he started making racing sails, with the collaboration of top sailmakers and designers in France; these racing sails have won countless distinctions ever since.

Today we design and cut our sails with the help of the Prosail program by Armstrong White Automation (NZ) and export them to various European countries. The philosophy and strategy of DL SAILS relies on its agents and the creation of new lofts in Europe for the company's development. Our know-how and 30-year experience in sailmaking, as well as our ongoing investments in new technology and automation allow us to manufacture high quality sails at competitive prices in no time.
